Affiliate Disclosure

How pot.lu handles commission-earning links without dressing them up as neutral links.

This page sets the disclosure standard the site is expected to follow whenever a commission arrangement exists.

What “Affiliate Link” Means on This Site

An affiliate link is an outbound link that pays pot.lu a commission if a reader signs up or makes a purchase through it. The price for the reader is the same whether the link is affiliate-tagged or not.

Where Affiliate Links Appear

  • CBD reviews.
  • CBD shop directory listings where a commission arrangement exists.
  • CSC software listings on the German clubs directory.
  • Selected partner-tool mentions elsewhere on the site where a commission arrangement has been disclosed.

How We Mark Them

pot.lu marks affiliate links in two ways: the HTML link carries the rel="sponsored" attribute, and the page shows a visible “(affiliate link)” marker adjacent to the link.

What We Do Not Do

  • We do not accept money to rank vendors higher.
  • We do not hide commercial relationships where a commission is earned.
  • We do not allow vendors to dictate the content of reviews or comparisons.

Editorial Independence

pot.lu is intended to be commercially useful without turning into paid placement dressed up as editorial. If a commission arrangement creates a conflict, the editorial judgment should win and the link should not run.
